Circular Rides
Crediton is surrounded by a network of quiet lanes. These allow cyclists to readily explore the mid Devon countryside. Here we suggest a range of local routes varying in length from 4 to 12 miles.
Train Assisted One-way Rides
Credition is fortunate in being on the Tarka Rail Line which links Exeter and Barnstaple. Unlike on main-line trains bike reservation is not required. The trains have a section with tip-up seats which can accommodate bikes, wheelchairs and pushchairs. Bikes travel at the discretion of the guard - but normally outside peak commuter times bikes are accepted.
